Does MTK work on windows 8.1 on a mac?

    My friend asked me to install windows 8.1 on his iMac but I have no experience with macs and I don't want to mess up his computer.

    Does MTK work on windows 8/8.1 installations on macs? Has anyone here tried it?

    In case you'll get Win 8 running (afaik via bootcamp) MTK should work, it only runs a KMS Emulator on demand to activate the system.

    To address your question directly.

    Yes you can activate on a Mac because your doing a local activation and it is not hardware based.

    Now getting installed will be trickier as you could do it with bootcamp or rEFit.
