Yes it contains a Toshiba SLIC already. But there is no cert. therefore.

Please install AcpiScope, goto file--->load Acpi info from---->bios.
Save and upload the report to see if it is mapped fully into physical memory.

After that I'll exchange the Toshiba SLIC into another one for which a cert. is available in the public.

It seems that another Toshiba SLIC is used cause of the softmod.

Please remove the softmod before and send a new report. I've to know if the original (bios) SLIC is mapped into RAM to modify it correctly!

To check if the mod is working after you have to do it anyway.

    THX!

Do you think there's any way to enable FSB and RAM setings in the BIOS as this has very basic config and no user changeable settings.

    Thanks, Rob

    help

    Hi

I've been have lots of BSOD's so had to flash back to original BIOS.

I thought it might have been a corrupt flash, but when I try to flash the modded bios again AFUDOS tells me it has an invalid boot block.

Is there a way of flashing with afudos that can leave the boot block or do i need to flash that for the SLIC to work?

The version of AFUDOS I have doesn't have this option.

    Thx

Or is there any way to extract or create the cert for the SLIC already in the BIOS?

Everest says the OEM ID in the SLIC is TOSASU, does anybody have this OEM certificate, if so please send me the link.

    Thanks in advance:)

    Unfortunately I don't have a cert therefore.
    Afudos /ixxxx.rom /pbnc /n

flashes all parts of bios! Afudos 'alone' not. Maybe the additional switches resolve your issue!

    Hi Yen

I just found out using AMI Flash 895 that my bios says its write protected. I think it must be the toshiba bios i flashed it with.

There is no option to unlock it in the BIOS setup. Do you have any idea how to do it?

    thx

I know for a fact now it's not your mods that are problem, I'm even getting same messages when trying to flash the original BIOS?

    That's strange!
    I'd try some Afudos versions.......
    What about Afudos 2.19?
This is reported to flash bios eventhough other versions of Afudos won't...
