Does norton endpoint 11 offer the same protection as norton 2011 antivirus, or does endpoint use an older virus engine?

    Copy paste from another forum:

Btw.. i have used both Endpoint and NIS 2011 and the difference is that Endpoint with endpoint you don't want to scan a whole pc for viruses.. it scans slow as hell.. i guess its meant to be installed on a clean computer and let it detect any viruses that may try to infect the pc. Endpoint is meant to be used in a company while NIS is for home use.

I run microsoft essential security and advance systemcare and never had one bug get through ever and being it by microsoft for microsoft runs smooth no lag like with nortons. I also would recomend iobits Smart defrag much faster and better then stock one built into windows 7.
