Bunch of thanks but no test's...lol Anyway this has been adjusted for W8 only so please do not upload or host this beta version as to keep the integrity for Trilogy 3.2 Real Trilogy 3.2 is in my Trilogy thread Thank you
yeah no tests because my 7989 has been already activated *Edit tried this earlier, didnt work, so up for another check on triology?.
What is with the vagueness...lol What about it didn't work? If your gonna test ya gotta work with me please And did you try the MPC and did you run out your rearms first...lol What does the anti-nag code do on W8 Etc... Key for what I was asking for W8 default key Be specific please!
it said... Only Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 are supported, then came back to the MPA menu btw sorry, tested this version right now, it works , but i closed it as it'd just break down my re-arms.. sorry for being a ******* yep its the default installed key for windows 8. when during the startup of 7989 after a vanilla (fresh) install, if you dont choose to enter a key this default key gets installed.
Now that's testing almost...lol 1. So default key is same for W7/W8 2. You say it works but you say that is uses rearms yet if it worked it would restore rearms...lol 3. Still need to know what antinag code does to watermark or nags if they exist on W8 4. How many rearms come stock with W8 install Use this code in cmd prompt to see rearm count on fresh install Code: slmgr /dlv Thanks
@methodbeat So W8 gives 90 days grace = 2 rearms + 30 days But we still need someone with clean install to run out rearms with this code Code: slmgr /rearm til you have 0 then install IR5 or MPC which involves going into RE to run the IR5 or MPC batch files in system drive Well the antinag code elimnates watermark and nags during 30 day grace period so what does it do on W8 is the question Here is the install Code: REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\Activation" /v NotificationDisabled /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f and uninstall Code: REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\Activation" /v NotificationDisabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f So does everyone get that? I don't have x64 so can't test You have to install IR5 or MPC "actually" to participate in this testing Then if rearms reset to 2 or 3 whatever then WPA delete still works Thank you
Does it actually say 90 days or are you just telling me what the total days is Does it really say 90 days...lol Each rearm = 30 days hence 2 rearms at 30 days each = 60 days + initial 30 days = 90
talking about the re-arms, idk, it'd be known when we reach 03/15/2012 talking about the 90 days thing, yeah, but it doesn't specifically says 90 days before re-arming or thing but as you can see in the screensnap i posted, its perfectly differentiable.
Still can't confirm rearm concept is working till you run out rearms then reset in RE Anyone else care to actually install IR5 or MPC Thank you
I'm running 7989 in VHD here, Repair your computer launches but doesn't find the Windows installation.
Can you use the MPC and go into RE automatically or are you saying that it doesn't go into RE with W8
Attn Moderators Attn Moderators Please change title to Does rearm concept still work for W8? Test and find out...lol Thanks
I can use the MPC and go into RE automatically, but since my 7989 installation is on VHD, the RE doesn't find the Windows installation.
