does the Dell Inspiron Desktop 545 has slic 2.1 ?

    does this Dell Model 545 with latest Dell Bios from 12/02/2009 A12 has Slic 2.1 in there?

    I'm going over to a friends place tomorrow to install Win7. He got the Win7 Dell upgrade DVD earlier this year so its time to get rid of Vista on his computer.

    I would prefer to do the OEM activation with Slic 2.1 in the Bios since his computer needs to be reinstalled at least once a year. His kids always messing things up.

    yes it has DELL-FX09-AWRD SLIC 2.1

    thank you for the reply - the install went perfectly and inserted the Cert with Daz loader and Win7 is activated.

    only downside about that computer is that the the Intel Q8200 processor does not support VT. Pretty lame but not much one can do about that.

    At least there was Slic 2.1 in the Bios.
