    Currently I have a laptop which comes with the Home Basic edition of Windows Vista, and it was activated through OEM SLP. Now I have a genuine copy of Vista Business, and I want to install it on my laptop. Is it possible to activate this copy using the OEM SLP method? I have the certificates, the SLP key for Vista Business, and the SLIC is hardcoded in BIOS. But I'm not sure whether the SLIC works for all versions of Vista, or in my case just for Home Basic?

    MGADiag says this:
    OEM Activation 2.0 Data-->
    BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes
    Windows marker version: 0x20000
    OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: yes
    BIOS Information:

    Is it possible to activate a copy of Vista Business with this SLIC? Or does the SLIC data only correspond with one version of Vista? Help wanted :D
