It is a simple KMS activation method which was discussed a thousand times on MDL. The servers provided mostly originate from MDL members or universities. I assume some are down in the meantime.
ahh ok thank u what I thought that the N is a stripped down version with no Internet Explorer and no media player but it seems it's not worth the hassle
Never has been worth the hassle we have had N versions since XP and as always you can go into add remove programs advanced section and disable such things. But you will still get a windows up date browser choice that was MS way of getting by the EU rules.
