does windows 8.1 w/update (2014-December) have any telemtry functions pre-installed?

Thinking of staying with windows 8 because of how windoes 10 is doing with all the telemetry stuff.

would it be ok to use:
    en_windows_8.1_enterprise_with_update_x64_dvd_6054382.iso (2014-December)

or would it be better to stick with the safer:
    en_windows_8.1_enterprise_with_update_x64_dvd_4065178.iso

and disable updates from there ?

Both iso's are the same but the 2014-december (it's actually November Rollup) contains the 2 November 2014 Updates extra. So if the 2 updates released in nov 2014 aren't telemetry (check the lists) then it's safe.

November Rollup KB3000850 itself contain old version of the same components in KB2976978

these old components are not harmful or telemtry related, and it's enough to disable or delete these schedule tasks
    Code:
    \Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser
    \Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\ProgramDataUpdater

    thanks for the info.

i just checked those 2 tasks you mentioned, and they had this description:

    Code:
    Collects program telemetry information
if opted-in to the Microsoft Customer
    Experience Improvement Program

and i made sure that I DID NOT opt-in the Experience Improvement Program (just double checked the action center)

So, i assume, I am safe even if I didn't delete those 2 tasks ?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, it's enough to disable both
the 'collecting' will not happen without those tasks running
