Hi, I am a happy owner of two Lenovo Thinkpad T60-s that both rolled out of the factory with Windows COA, however neither of them actually have any version of SLIC present in BIOS. I'm not aware how this has happened (bought both in used condition), but I would like to enjoy the benefits of offline activation. Since TP-s use a variant of PhoenixBIOS, WinPhlash is the suitable tool. I've noticed that it contains backup feature and that sparked an idea. My questions are: 1) if I back up the BIOS on a TP T60 that has SLIC present, will the backup image also include ACPI SLIC table (obviously either the SLP 1.0 or SLP 2.0)? 2) Is it possible to flash the backed up .bak image? Second question is what troubles me most - original BIOS update includes two separate firmware files (one for BIOS and another one for embedded controller), but WinPhlash's backup only creates one file and is noticeably larger in filesize. Thanks in advance!
