Dog stepped on laptop. Does the screen need to be replaced?

    My friend said his dog (80 pounds) stepped on his laptop and cracked the screen. I expected to see the glass cracked, but it’s not at all. The glass (screen) is intact. It almost looks like a picture behind the glass. Do you think the screen needs to be replaced, or do you think it’s something else? Best Buy wants $300 to fix it.

    Thanks for the link Joe. Unfortunately they are out of stock for the touchscreen, but what a good price!! Only $71, I was expecting a lot more.

    They carry a large stock, I'm surprised they do not have one for you. You can get the OEM brand name and number off the sticker on the back side of the screen and find a compatible screen that way too.

    Many different laptops use the same OEM screen brand and model
