I have a Daz loaded Win7 Ultimate Laptop. I had recently purchased a Win7 Pro make-genuine key from MS and want to install this. However I have many software installed which I don't want to reinstall again. Is there a way to safely downgrade the laptop while keeping all my software and settings intact.
I also have a couple of licensed software, will these get affected?

I do everything as in this tutorial and it doesn't work. I still get error in installer about upgrading. Any ideas?

I wouldn't downgrade from Win 7 Ultimate to Pro.. Sort of dumb idea.. I would stay where is.. both looks same and but one few missing in Pro edition!

I don't think MS cares about Win7 versions, reason being, several months ago I used the in-place upgrade to move from Home Premium to Ultimate and there was no upgrade fee. That may not work now because of the push for Win10, but it shows me that MS doesn't really care about what version of 7 you have...

I use GWX Control Panel tools and Never10 from GRC and never had bit problems. IT WORKS!! Never had Push updates for couple of month! I kept eye on it.. :)
