I bought an HP computer with Windows 8 Preinstalled and I can't figure out how to downgrade it to Windows 7. How do I get the disk to boot at startup? Also theres about 5 partitions... should I delete them all?

Remember to take a backup first ;)

Turn off secure boot from bios, then boot from the 7 installation media. There is no way to downgrade; you have to do a clean install.

You need to disable secure boot to enable booting from other devices.

Try reading the manual if you got one if not download it from HP and see how to do factory restore (if you have not deleted recovery partition)

The comp is not for me, someone asked me to downgrade it because they weren't able to. I am just going to install a leaked version of windows 8 and tell them to exchange it for a model that still has 7

Make your mind up in one hand you say you Bought the computer now you say it belongs to someone else. Did you delete recovery Partition ? if so I doubt they will exchange it if it in not back to factory settings i,e, user errors.
