Downgrade PRO to HOME

    Hello. I'm sorry for my bad English.

    On PC is installed Windows 10 PRO (upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro - VL key) and it´s activated. I need install Windows 10 HOME. Will be a problem after installing activation , once the mechanism is in MS HW ID registered the PRO version? Installation would take place in the form of a clean installation of Windows 7 Home Premium , activation and subsequent upgrade.
    It will activate HOME version , when it was activated version PRO?

    I have a Pro HWID and a Home HWID for all my systems, so it should be do-able. I had to do the upgrade process or the gatherosstate trick twice on all systems, once from 7 HomePremium, dazzed > 10 Home and once from 7 Ultimate dazzed > 10 Pro to get both HWID's for them. And it still works :)

    Okay , so I do format the HDD, install Windows 7 Home Premium, activated using DAZ, upgrade to Home (or use gatherosstate.exe) and then clean install of Windows 10 Home? Activation will be successful?

    Why do you need Home instead of Pro?

    Home users can't change automatically update apps.

    It's at the moment 3 months till the end of the "free upgrade to get a HWID" offer, for the system ;)

    Yes, I understand. But this computer is already being used PRO version. I need install HOME version and activate it. My point is, if activation succeeds.

    Please read:

    Just do the upgrade or gatherosstate option on a 7 hp dazzed > 10 home and you also got a HWID for 10 HOME.
