A simple, lightweight distribution
? Simple? It's the most complicated version of Linux to date
The developers wanted to encourage its use! hahahaha
Very well observed friend!
I still pick to install this system lol
Nothing phases a hard-core Nix hey, LOL...
Gonna have to give this a go as well
You are a master!
We want to learn from u
Is this more hardened that Slackware???
Some say "yes" more difficult ... lol
LOL.. I think that's duh's (Paul) world!
Most complicated? Go get yourself a copy of LFS.
I tried Arch after trying a couple of "easy" distros and can say that it's the install that is not as easy as some other distros but in use I find it easier. When I was using "easy" distros like say Mint or Crunchbang if I couldn't find up to date software I had to build it myself with various results In Arch I rarely have to as some kind guy has usually done it for me and it's easy to install from the AUR. Also the software is much more up to date. I also find it stable.
It's not complicated. I know it seems like a 7-headed monster, but once you read the wiki and understand what every command does, it get's simple. I can install Arch faster than Ubuntu, for example.
Maintaining arch is also very simple, very basic.
The learning curve is also great.
Welcome here bro

Wow, It looks like a thing that only HACKERS use
Serious $h!t ! I remembered D.H. 4.0 the moment my eyes came in front of the screenshot ..
It's simple as in there's not much in it
I am new to linux but i really want to touch ARCH haha.
I have few years with Linux and I know what my computer is inside but I wasn't able to install Arch
Why Bro.. Is the installation process E.T. (Extraterrestrial)?
I don't remember now where I did wrong neither where I droped that CD for future try...
Try in vmware first ? i am a newbie with linux and never used virtual box but for arch i might install it haha
