Yep, right, sometimes I ask myself too, if I need to spend the time with computer instead walking in nature.
VulkanRT v1.0.5.1 is already included in latest GeForce drivers v364.72, can't see any merit of this thread.
v1.0.8.0 has been pulled...bug detected in Doom Beta... Here's the hotfixed v1.0.5.1 found in Nvidia v364.96... (for those who don't want to download 350+ mb) mega.nz/#!elpVAbLb!7BbYsC35_2UU50RPoXrva9og9rM8s-OiPaPZJgZWSEQ
Naughty boy, you didn't read my post The hotfix version was released on April 13th...your post was on April 3rd
That's the sort of crap happens when you don't use the good old DirectX. Finding new vulcan runtimes and then pulling back old ones because of bugs... And it's not like the new Doom / id Tech engine is groundbreaking as it once was...
Just a quick question guys but is anyone getting the flashing spinning chopper in the Vulkan chopper demo? I'm on driver 364.69 and have tried runtimes 1.0.8.0 and 1.0.5.1, even deleting all the runtimes still lets me load up the demo but with the flashing copper still making an appearance. Windows 10 build 14316 Thanks
Take the 5 minutes, download "mine v1-0-5-1" and compare it to "yours". Spoiler alert: They are the same.
1. Download DDU from here... guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html 2. Download Nvidia v364.96 from here... guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-364-96-hotfix-driver-download.html 3. Download the latest Intel gpu drivers (if you need to) 4. Clean AMD and Nvidia and Intel drivers in safe mode... 5. Reboot and clean install Nvidia... 6. Reboot and install Intel (if you need to) 7. Test and verify...
Thanks for the quick reply glennsamuel but I always use DDU and already on 364.96, I'll do another sweep of DDU and install the driver again in case I had a bad install first time round.
