Download link for german windows 2008 server?

    Hi,

    I hope it's not forbidden to ask...

    Does anybody have a MSDN / Technet download link for the german version of ms windows server 2008 (standard)? My trial version will expire in about a month (after rearming it for the third time).

    If you cannot find it, you can always install the German language pack.

    The language packs are available on M$ website.

    As for the activation, if you mod your BIOS you can install the OEM key and it will activate just fine.

    I'd prefer an original german version :) Installing a german mui is the last option...

    I'm afraid I won't be able to hack my bios (it's a very old MSI 865PE Neo (MS-6742)) but I'll probably give it a try.

    Done *g*.

    This will be the test machine for such a bios mod. I'll get my new Dell system in about 10 days and I hope it won't be too difficult to apply the appropriate patch as well.
