How can it be RTM if it doesn't ask for a key during installation or care if there is a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\Registration\PIDKEY or not?

Update: The answer is: It has a key in vs_ultimate.exe/0//Variable[contains(@Id,'ProductKey')]/@Value. A command to print the key is isoinfo -ien_visual_studio_ultimate_2012_x86_dvd_920947.iso -x/vs_ultimate.exe>vs_ultimate.exe; 7z x -aoa vs_ultimate.exe -so 0 2>/dev/null|xpath -q -e "//Variable[contains(@Id,'ProductKey')]/@Value"; rm vs_ultimate.exe.

The key can be applied by the installer by running it as vs_ultimate /productkey RBCXF*.

Product key location in registry

The product key is not stored in the above mentioned registry value. It's unknown where the product key is stored.

P.S.: Installed on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64 (Intel i5-2450 CPU @ 2.50 GHz with 4.00 GB RAM)
