I have a TON of updates that will not work, I had to fight to get Windows Update working period. I used DAZ Loader to activate the product key.

My PC Specs (minus graphics card/SDD/monitors):

    Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
    MSI Z170A GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
    G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Fractal Design Define S ATX Mid Tower Case
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I've been told USB 3.0 and Windows 7 aren't compatible or something., so at first I had trouble even getting Windows 7 to install, I had to put 3.0 drivers on the bootable USB to make it work.

Anyway, I can't even "upgrade" to windows 10. Just to see if that'd help any issues.

134 updates won't install, neither will my El Gato Game Capture HD updates. I'm getting very frustrated, and I think this is probably because of my build/incompatibility/a crappy torrent. But idk. I just want all of this fixed. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Just use to download a clean ISO for W7U, install it and use DAZ Loader for to activate! Do NOT use any home build ISO, like the one you try and failed already!

Will do, one more thing. When I went to install what I am currently on, I would get an error because of USB 3.0 or whatever. And I have to add the drivers for it so it works. This won't cause me problems again will it?

@Enthousiast - Rubbish? Really? Maybe you should put a copy of Daz Loader on a USB stick, scan it using Windows Defender, and see for yourself what the results are. And based on those results, I don't see how Windows Defender would even allow you to execute the program.

Huh? I've never had defender report anything. Never had to worry about disconnecting either...

@John: Microsoft Security essentials will hunt down and destroy the Daz loader.

To the best of my knowledge, The Windows Defender shouldn't care. Unless there was a Windows Defender update that also hunts down the loader.

@Enthousiast: "Rubbish" is a strong word. Perhaps "Optional" Might be a better choice? :)

Same here. Maybe sort of kinda tells you how "good" Windows Defender/Microsoft Security essentials are. Now, I do have to disable Avast, or make an exception for Daz's loader but that's expected. But then I always install Avast after I use Daz's loader so it's a moot point altogether for me. As is the usual case, YMMV.

I reinstalled with a fresh windows 7. I'm still getting the damn "Checking For Updates" being stuck bs. On top of that, it's not reading my USB flash drive, yet that shows up in the bios. I'm beginning to get very irritated. However I am using the update package suggested. The USB drivers and whatnot will still be an issue.

Time to try an offline updater? I've had good success with WSUS Offline Updater; there are others.

I ran the Simplix pack with no issue. The issue is, none of my USB stuff will show up under devices. My flash drive would show in the bios, and it says on my phone that it connected as a media device. But they won't show up under devices/etc.

On top of that, I installed some USB 3.0 driver for my Motherboard, and the USB stuff stopped working entirely, can't even use my mouse.
And the scroll wheel on my mouse wasn't even working properly, there wasn't even a "wheel" options under properties, which is bs because it worked before.

I just want all my damn devices (Especially my El Gato Game Capture HD) to work correctly. I didn't just spend $1300 for nothing to work

So you're saying I'm going to be forced to download Windows 8?

No. From the MSI Site it looks like they have good driver support for Win 7, but going forward and having the most up to date drivers available o_O
