Well, there actually is 4 different cert's, and they all say 2.1 slic. lol What are the differences between those 4? Am I limited to one specific one? Should I just have someone mod me a bios again for the laptop and use the cert they say to use? Also, what about my second question I had posted?
#1. Just install one certificate and see if it works. If not try the next and so on. At most you're looking at 4 Reboots to figure that out. Or just PM the modder and ask him. #2. I wouldn't bother, but you certainly can it's easy enough to do.
You know what. I cant even figure out how to flash the BIOS on this laptop. Do you guys have any advice? It seems like the bios you download from toshibas website is executable, and the moded one isnt. So, how do I flash the bios?
I have to admit, I am happy that someone figured that out for me. But, I am having a lot of trouble on how to flash this computer bios. I have done several computers, but have never had one where there seems to be no utility to do it with. Does anyone know how to flash a toshiba m115 s3094 laptop??? I would really appreciate the help. Oh, and does the name of the bios file matter? its named biosmod.rom. So, Im not sure if it will cause a problem with the original name of the bios.
