hi guys, I need some help looking for windows drivers so i can connect and see my new insignia ns-p10a7100 tablet (android version) to my windows 10 pro desktop. Can someone plz help me out with this issue. thx
It shouldn't need a driver. Did you try: 1. Connect the Micro USB cable from your tablet to your computer. 2. Open Computer or My Computer, then click your model number (NSP10A7100/NS-P10A7100-C) icon to view or transfer files. 3. Open Notifications, then tap the USB connection entry. The Use USB for window opens. 4. Tap File transfers. 5. Unplug the cable when you are finished.
Tried all that. According to both m$ and insignia, it needs a driver and neither is able to help me with it. (shocker there...haha)
not on 8.1. I must say that i bought this tablet today, connected to my desktop and laptop and it didnt recognize it. When I brought it back to store, they tried it on their desktop and laptop and it worked fine on both.
Can you take it back to the store and get them to copy the driver that their their computer(s) obviously have for you with double driver? You might have to turn off driver signature enforcement, if you can, to make it work with Windows 10.
What's about to connect a USB HDD to the Tablet: Could you 'see' the content of that USB HDD? If not, you need to check the Settings of the Tablet first (USB Debugging enabled and others)! What Android Version is running of the Tablet?
Could you tell me the setting i need to look at. OS version is 6.0.1. I should add that this tablet is new as i bought it today. When I brought it back to the store they connected it to their windows desktop and it noticed it right away.
Contact the Manufacturer of your Tablet and ask for a working Windows Driver!! You just have to keep in mind: Android is Open Source OS, which is separately developed by many user and Companies, each depend for the used Hardware. How 'clean' such developments are, who knows?! Also: anything you do (try to change) on your device, is on your own risk! That said and to answer your question: you'll need to 'dig' deep inside the Android and Driver problems to find out the How Too......! Without to have a similar device on Hand, with the same OS running, I would not give any advice to avoid to mistakenly give any false infos. Sorry, that I couldn't help
Didn't you think, as this forum is help (you and others), that it would be appropriate to explain how you solved your problem, in details? Maybe others having same/similar problems as well and may could benefit from what you'd done?! Thanks.
