I use to run Windows 8 Pro and Android 4.2.2 on my laptop Acer Aspire 4752G.

As I didn't use the DVD drive normally any more, I bought an HDD Holder for that DVD Slot and have an 320GB HDD for Android in there. While booting the laptop, I use the F12 Key to chose what I like to run: Windows or Android! That works excellent!

Yes you can use same Id's if there are no hardware modifications. Use EasyBCD to manage dual-boot. :)

hi pisthai. You can install Android on your Acer laptop? Could you please tell me how to do it? I also want to do a dual boot on my HP laptop such as Windows XP and Android. Before, I did a dual boot of Windows XP and Windows 7. Can we download an Android OS from Google.ca? I really appreciate for your help.

In my case I think it's the AMD graphics(same reason why the ICS builds were unusable on it due to distorted and flickering graphics) in the machine I'm using to test Androidx86. Aside from that,it's working like a champ and even the built-in 3G and the WiFi work properly,so thanks again for reminding me about that project.

My laptop, Acer Aspire 4752G has an Intel 128MB and an Nvidia 1GB Graphics and just works well in Android x86. Dont have 3G , I use the WiFi and that works well too. And I really don't mind that some APK's didn't working. It's a really good experience compare with my Tablet which run Android 4.0.3!

Hi: Running Win8 / WS2012 on this lappy. Put win 8 first. made a separate partition and put WS2012. It recognized what I was doing and installed boot manager to select the os. Works slick. Did the same thing with WinXP /Win7 some time ago. Win7 has the same boot mgr. should be no prob....T
