Is it possible to install two versions of XP Pro on different HD's and have windows built in boot loader pick it up; or better to install XP to second HD on different computer (would be recognized as C instead of D) and then install easyBCD on original HD then connect second HD and then edit BCD entries? Would this eliminate either copy of XP seeing itself as anything other than C drive? Well I'll just try installing on another comp and see what happens..............

You can have Windows XP on different partitions of the the same disk, or on different disks.

    1. Install XP. You might want to resize the partition beforehand.

    2. Install XP copy 2.

Most of my laptops have dual installs of XP on them, some with different partition letters (eg one sees the partitions as D,C, while the second sees these as Q, P. (fiddling the drive letters - not good for hardlinks!).
