I am currently planning to dual windows 7 and vista on a machine modded with a slic 2.1 bios .win7 already running and working fine ,instantly activated with the matching cert and key . but will the same 2.1 cert and a vista key activate vista ,I dont want to go down the road of loaders .
It should work ok it really depends on actual bios some still use certificate 2.0 for both vista and windows 7 if it don't work just download certificate 2.0 for vista install.
Ya. Just install the 2.1 cert that is compatible with the slic on Windows 7 + OEM:SLP key for 7. On Vista, install a 2.0 cert, compatible with the slic, + OEM:SLP key for Vista. You're done. It's pretty simple.
@ Ruixituh, his 2.1 certificate will probably work with vista i would try that first before trying 2.0 certificate.
thanks urie , a rep point on its way ,worked a treat with the same 2.1 cert , just changed the key in the batch file to a vista one ,and all up and running .
