It seems like the motherboard manufacturers such as MSI are getting smarter from ppl like us to mod and inject our own SLIC table into the BIOS. By putting a dummy SLIC table / hide SLIC table controller in the BIOS, most of the methods and tools I've used are useless. I end up seeking help from a Chinese site, where they are able to mod the BIOS and enable the SLIC Table Controller in the BIOS settings. Just curious, anyone has any idea on how to accomplish that? Thanks in advance.
Yes, Just click Cancel on the Pop-up in the AMI SLIC Tool and then choose SSV2 Method. That Works perfectly for most MSI BIOS I've seen that have a Dummy SLIC Table. PS As far as I know, This is NOT something that was done to counteract the SLIC Tool. They were doing that before these tools were ever created to leave room for an OEM to add a SLIC Table.
