I purchased a new Intel DZ68BC motherboard and Intel states that it supports 3thd gen CPUs. This appears not to be the case. A 2nd gen CPU is needed to upgrade the BIOS to enable 3thd gen support. I have a 2nd gen CPU (I5-2300) and have progressively upgraded the BIOS and sill have had no success with having proper function with a I7-3770. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, any luck with resolving it. I have read many posts from people who have had this issue and followed their instructions on how they made it work. But there seems more people that have not had it work than those who have made it work. Any suggestions? thanks
