Edge comes back since last two cumulative updates

    hi all. I've been using w10privacy to uninstall and block reinstallation of Edge until now. since the last two cumulative updates edge is being resurrected as some of you might already know. is there any other effective to block automatic installation? I'm using the latest ltsc

    You could uninstall edge, mod 19045 22H2Enablement to work with your version of ltsc, as enterprises edition is an option in SSU & CU update.mum for 19045.

    It doesn't need any mod
    and there is no separate updates, all SSU/LCU are 19041 and apply for all fake versions

    how changing version to 22H2 would prevent Edge reinstallation?

    You can just install Microsoft-Windows-22H2Enablement-Package~ .mum directly

    IF done this way, Minimum RollupFix 19041.1949.1.10 [KB5016688]:

Extract Windows10.0-KB5015684-x64.cab to C:\

    or

    or

    but the 2nd iso can install KB5015684 directly
