I need to get the passcode for an iOS device. I've heard of this software, but it's extremely expensive for a 1 year license. There is supposedly a trial, but I can't find where it is on the site. It requires a license to work and I've looked for some cracked software (but it doesn't seem legit). I am assuming the dongle is important for the method to work. Does anyone have an alternative? I only need the passcode to unlock the device. It's an iPhone Xs Max with iOS 12+(I think).
I did a little more research and it seems even that software can't do what I need and the general consensus is that once the passcode entry fails for the last time the encryption key for the data is lost permanently. There are other tools that claim to bypass the passcode, but all they are really doing is restoring the iPhone back to default and the data is lost.
