    This e-machine T3882 has an ami bios.
    Should I use the aflash2 or the afudos to flash this
    bios with the updated bios with slic.

    You should use the tool they gave you...AFUDOS otherwise

    Yes
    I did not get any software with this computer.
    I used the universal bios extractor and then added the slic
    with the ami bios tool.
    I went to the emachine sight but did not find an updated bios.
    But the bios I patched stated completed successful.
