    Hello experts,

I'm in the process of attempting a Hackintosh (AMD) install on a PC I had sitting around the house. I've run into an issue with the SATA devices not being in AHCI mode (and there is not an AHCI mode available :( IDE is the only option). I've spent the best part of a day scouring the internet and forums like yours on how to mod the BIOS myself, but am stuck on what to do. Using a heap of different tools I was finally able to extract the BIOS modules using "bit14" (can't remember where I got it, due to the amount of places I looked through lately). Could someone help me workout where I need to look to mod the BIOS or someone to enable it for me (probably better as I can just see myself screwing it up). I've seen people have modded this BIOS to add SLIC2.1 support so I assume its possible.

    Please help.
