AFAIK and if that is possible, it would need an live Internet connection while installing Windows 8 because it will download required files while installing which includes .net 2.0 and above.
I'd like to know this, too. If I'm not mistaken Windows 8 ISO does not contain .NET Framework 3.5 Anyway to slipstream ?
I was trying to install Adobe digital reader for epub books , but it refuses to install on win 8 pro x64 but wants to down load .net 3.5 why net 4.5 in win 8 is not capable for adobe digital reader ?? thanks.
Nope, .net 3.5 (which includes 2.0) is part of install media though, no internet connection needed. You can install it offline.
As .net 3.5 is needed by a few apps I use, it's one of the first I install after setup Windows incl. 8 and all times it downloads several content from the Internet. If I'm not connected, I get error messages! I don't mind about to be connected and myt connection is fast, so no problems for me. Thanks anyway for the info.
