Hi...!! Somebody knows how to enable "test mode" on windows 10 build 9860... ?? Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON worked on build 9841 now it doesn't The admin command line said is "OK" but the drivers doesn't load...
From elevated cmd-prompt run both of these commands. Working at least on my system on the newest build with an unsigned/modded creative audio driver. bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
I did only "bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON" and the F8 seventh option and it doesn't... the watermark doesn't appear either I w"ll try "bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" thought edit: for some reason both methods doesn't work here...
DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS is deprecated since Windows 7 bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON should suffice. You will have to self sign the driver of course but that's not difficult, or use the F8 option on every boot.
ok.. I re-installed the driver already signed and it is working now ... for some reason the watermark "test mode" doesn't appear.. I would like to enable "bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" then
Kind of off topic I had real troubles trying to get 9860 to boot as a .VHD the usual command line actions (which have worked on 7/8 and 9841) didn't work. So MS most have made some big changes in the boot routine
