    Hi,

I have a HP laptop. I am trying to set up VirtualBox, and so I need to enable virtualization. I went to BIOS and enabled it, but the task manager performance tab still says that it's disabled. Though it showing "yes" to Hyper-V support right below it. I have rechecked BIOS settings and restarted (cold) my laptop but that didn't enable virtualization (according to task manager).

Questions: Does W10 Home supports virtualization and Virtual Box? If not, can I upgrade to Pro without having to reinstall Windows? (pls point me to the right thread in this forum)

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

AFAIK as hardware virtualization is enabled, Virtualbox can run on Windows 10 Home, but Hyper-V is not supported on Home edition.
