Updates fail and I keep receiving Code 8000FFFF

The Windows FIX IT (WindowsUpdateDiagnostic) fails at some point, but I couldn't locate its error report. I will try to attach a screen cap of the error.

I tried to install KB3177467 to fix it but it failed as well.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I will just leave the screen caps here so I know which services to enable afterwards. upload_2019-2-24_16-25-41.png

The bat file quickly closes after showing a couple of lines.

    3. Right click or press and hold on the downloaded .bat file, and click/tap on Run as administrator.

I booted in safe mode, but windows update didn't load there. Upon restarting to regular boot settings, I received that error. upload_2019-2-25_12-54-55.png

Clearly where does the version comes from ? It seems all system files are corrupted. I think of a bad manipulation or virus or something that modified dlls. Best is to backup all you need. Boot with a proper version of Windows, format the drive and do a clean install.

I downloaded the version from one of the links here and I slipstreamed it. It worked fine till that infection happened. I actually installed it in October 2017. I'd rather I didn't have to format now because my shoulders are dislocated and I should have surgery for one of them soon. If there is an alternative, I'd love to take it.

It found nothing out of the ordinary.

Trying Windows Repair Tool Box now.
