When I tried to run the performance index assessment in windows 7 build 7048 x64, I got a message says "Problem in comuting assessment".

Can anyone help me to solve this problem ?

    Thanks for help.

it has been discussed on the forum already.
Did you installed all the drivers and have no conflicts in the device manager ?

It's a bug of build 7048, your drivers aren't the problem.

This is the first time for my PC to get this error. I installed 7000 and 7022 before and it is OK. So can anyone solve the problem.

I had the same problem - have fixed it...

After installing x64 7048, I went into "Programs and features > Turn Windows Features On or Off" and removed "Media Features > Windows DVD maker, Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player".

I used to get the performance index error saying Video performance (or something similar) could not be tested.

I installed FFDShow AND enabled the Media Features - got it to work now.

Not sure what fixed it - the Media Features or FFDShow... yours for experimenting!
