i can't play games in live messenger. everytime i push the games button, i get an error which say: this program can not display the page... it is similar to the 404 error page. it also tell me some reasons why it may be happened to me, like i don't have internet connection(which i have, of cours), and other ordinary reasons that don't help me . this thing is also happened to a friend of mine when he push the games button. i googled this problem and got some posts on this issue, but nothing helped. can someone help me on this thing? thanks a lot!
is anyone have an answer? i already upgraded the messenger to version 2012, and i still can't play games(same error that page not found bla bla...). in windows xp, i can play games with my friend, so i think the problem is with windows 7. it's the same computer but dual boot(XP and 7). my friend also can't start playing with me, and he get the same error(he also on windows 7). if i'm on XP, i can start game and he get the invitation without a problem, and we are playing. here is a capture of the error i get when i push the games button:
well today i tried this, but it doesn't work for me. for example, i go to the link you gave me, and push checkers. then i get into the page of the checkers game. there i push the start game button, and i get a message that says: This game requires Windows Live Messenger. For your free download, please visit (and here it has the live messenger web page and tell me that i need to download it to my computer) i already have live messenger on my computer, and it is already running... any suggestions?
