Recently, I'm trying to update from build 9841 to 9879. I first try to let the system update itself. However, when I reboot the computer, a black screen with "setting system *%" appears for seconds and then the system reboots and tells me the update is fail with a code 0X80070005-0X20005. I search for the code but doesn't get any useful information. Then I try to download the ISO and instal through it. However, the same problem appears. Is there anybody have been faced with same issue? I try to disable windows defender but it doesn't work.

Uninstall any possible incompatible desktop applications and try again. Not all installers are handled at migration.

I would suspect some sort of anti-virus program or driver software being culprit.

Is this why it keeps telling me to uninstall Webroot?

Unfortunately that doesn't mean they are fully compatible, as arseny already pointed. Did you uninstall antivirus and similiar?

Did you use your administrative account to sign in during the upgrade? If not you have to try it first.
