Certain areas in Europe have outlawed the media player bundled with Windows, resulting in MS providing an edition without the player. I wish certain areas in Europe would outlaw the privacy invading telemetry currently bundled with Windows. Maybe then MS would issue an edition without it, or perhaps an edition in which it could be easily and certainly disabled. They could call it the "TLESS" edition, or perhaps the "redbug" edition, in honor of me since I suggested it. In a lot of ways, Europe is more advanced than the United States of America.

Did you not get the memo? "LOL" has been deprecated.

I suspect an LTSB N TLESS edition would be popular.

So, how do we take this thread and move it forward when every time I look at the OP I see

now, 1) really? and 2) Yes, Europe is in many things, perhaps they will create a redbug edition for you if MS will not? Worth askin!!

Obviously the continent cannot create the redbug edition. What it can do is recognize that privacy is a universal human right and recognize that MS, by using involuntary, surreptitious telemetry, is violating that right. Various governments on the continent could decide not to use the MS OS unless and until MS disables the telemetry or at least provides a way for users to do so. They, the various governments on the continent, could also ban the sale of the OS in its present form, and thereby encourage MS to modify it so that it does not violate basic human rights. They could educate the public and strongly recommend that they, the public, not use the MS OS.
We have reached a tipping point. Even the most ignorant among us know there is something wrong with Windows 10.

And that brings a great point up. Where is all hype from other Governments about Windows 10, we all know its a risk to privacy. Are they still checking it out? Hell, they should be all over the media by now I would have thought.

Maybe they are in on it too. MS + Every Government in the world = NWO hrmmm :g:

But really, not a peep from any Governments yet? No boycotts, bans or demands. Maybe Im reading the wrong news.

lobbyism is the fist law of the billionaires, you know ...
no more cartel- or consumer protection, billionaires are the new aristocrats ruling the world built and malformed by the neocons.
that's why we won't hear a lot about this thing and even cause MS spent millions into lobbyism.

as long as you're aware they have access to everything as soon as you're a suspect taking efforts in privacy, that's okay,
but that's the reason to skip and reject a PatriotAct OS like Windows 10. Looks like they wanna push it out "for free" as fast as possible
    to spread their tracker.

They can get your info from your ISP as well. IMO blocking the telemetry is good enough.

No, when I talk about privacy I usually mean locally stored data which isn't made for third eyes.
But Microsoft delivers a lot of good arguments to get friends with linux any day soon ...
If only the most relevant software developers would head over creating linux software ;)

There's not adequate evidence that they've built some back-door into windows10.
No offense to that german post, but just about all connections and certs look suspect if you don't know what they do.
