but i just want to make sure what is your suggest before i buy new PSU so i wont be waste $$$ lol I m sure it is PSU.. but need your suggest thanks
Try this on event 41: support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504 As well, there is a hotfix which may or may not apply to you: support.microsoft.com/kb/979444/ According to the article on Event 41, the error message generated when the computer shutsdown may not be complete if it doesn't have time to capture all the error info - in other words its not really correct. You might want to try the hotfix just to see if it solves your issue. There are some references in the KB979444 article to power management issues is why I think it could apply. Good Luck! (sorry, don't have enough posts to post direct links)
Dewot, thanks for respond. I ll try that when I get home.. I m pretty sure, it's PSU problem.. 99% sure.. lol any suggest what best brand name for PSU? Thermtake? etc, I will buy... thanks
I had an Antec that died a horrible death. Since then I've been using Corsairs with no problems. Great warranties and they stand behind them - customer service at Corsair is very good. But hey, kind of depends on who has the best sale / rebate going on as well. Probably some good sales coming up at Newegg, etc. over the July 4th holidays if you are in the U.S. Later!
@dewot & everyone I just found out this morning that APC Battery Back Up is fault (it about 10 years old).. it's keep shutdown often... i test my PC power cord to wall outlet and it running over 6 hours and it didnt shutdown... it not PSU problem.. it's Battery back up fault.. i will replace to new one... Anyone ever get this error on a laptop? A dudes HP keeps throwing up this error in the event log which coincides roughly with the BSOD's he gets. In all honesty the battery is screwed on the laptop like, 90% wear.
