If your getting errors on the USB drive aswell then try getting your hands on a new source like burfadel mentioned. Prolly a bad ISO image or faulty DVD copy. Try downloading a new copy and check it's integrity. Burn at lowest speed available.
ok currently redownloading from a diffrent source 7 hours till it finshes, will post results when it is complete
UPDATE: i downloaded a new iso burned it to my usb flash and the same thing happen this time it hang at 73% T.T dont knoq qhat to do
Have you checked your Hard Drive? You can also check in the Windows 7 Respoitory for good links to Win 7.
He has been trying it both ways. Only thing i can think of is bad sectors on the hard drive if it's stalling trying it both ways.
Okay, I had this some day with my retail copy of vista. MS stated it was my chipset thats preventing the installation to go smooth, it took 4 hours to expand the files. Maybe he leave the installation alone for some time and check back later. Just a suggestion.
tryed dvd and it hang at 35% this time sigh...btw earlyer i tryed installing xp and during the installing devices part i got a BSOD. EDIT: ok when i go to sleep ill try that
Make sure your RAM is okay. Try other HDD just to make sure that one you want to install onto is good. Do you remember the BSOD message?
hmmm all i renmber was boot in safe mode or try disableing cacheing and shadowing or something like that..there was alot of things llol....tommrow i could reinstall xp and take a pic of the BSOD.
