Explore the hack: Force Vail (WHSv2) onto a domain.

    Since nobody seems to have done this yet, I thought I'd be the first one to ask how to "hack" this into working. Although I realize that GPO might screw up Vail, it should be feasable to at least try it.

    Any ideas?

    I've heard that HAL hacking is an option however I have no idea how to do it..

    DFS and DFSR, file sharing, easier to use with other domain services.. Countless reasons.

    Or Just to say, you did it.

    I'm sure it would be possible (WHS 2003 was also hacked for this), but then you will lost all the unique features of WHS (at WHS 2003 it is so). And Windows Update will still "see" a WHS and update it like this. And this could destroy your hack and make the WHS unusable.
