Explorer keeps crashing as does some programs running like browser

    Hi last few restarts my win explorer keeps crashing and I lose toolbar. Doesn't restart

    Can't find explorer in task manager

    Am also running scans...

    Any help would be appreciated

    I am running a sfc /scannow now :rolleyes:

    Graphics driver issue maybe? Have you not got a restore point you can use?

    I'll check would that explain no explorer in task manager

    That'd make me think you're either infected or you've somehow corrupted something.

    I'd try a restore point first and if that fails do a repair install (if you're not SP1).

    Ok I will try that. Thanks. I did do scan with malwarebytes and no detection. Sfc /scannow went fine also. Will do AV scan next then restore last

    Explorer.exe is in task manager now

    Ok thank you daz. I did scans and left my comp be for a while an no more explorer crashes. I don't know why that happened
