    Thanks for the direct link :)

    As for loose cables etc, no, not the case - even bought new high-quality cables to be sure. Also tried both USB 2.0 and 3.0 slots.

    i had that issue and was low power supplied from USB.
    or bad HDD sucking too much power for motor.

    Have not had chance to install and re-boot yet.

    Don't think it's a power supply issue, as the enclosure has an external power supply.
