    You can use any Winflash, Abit's flashmenu or you can also use awdflash (awdflash backup.bin /sy /pn)
    Oh and by the way, I would like to have that BIOS if you dont mind :)

    Do you have any links to the tools, I have already tried a few:

    Winflash tells me there is not an award bios detected and it exits.

    awdflash i tried the lastest version i could find and entered the exact same swicthes but i wont back it up because it asks for a valid bios rom before it runs the backup procedure. Because a file is not provided of if I provide one it says it is not a match to the board it fails and will not continue to the saving portion.

    So I am open to suggestions to either windows based utilites or dos based utilites.
    I will definetly provide it when I am able to extract it.
    Thanks.

    I forgot to mention that this board has an nforce chip like on my previous 680i board. On my previous board the nvida tools actually provided an option to backup or flash the bios within the utility. But on this board the option isnt even there, I even tried the same version of the tools for my other board so I am not sure what has changed.

    ok, I'm glad that things have worked out for you :)

    as for inserting the slic code, it is very easy to do via ISA method

    Cbrom yourbios.bin /ISA Iasus.bin

    or

    CBROM BIOS.BIN /OTHER 40A4:0 ISA.BIN (---->ISA1)
    CBROM BIOS.BIN /OTHER 40A5:0 ISA.BIN (---->ISA2)
    CBROM BIOS.BIN /OTHER 40A6:0 ISA.BIN (---->ISA3)
