Extract damaged RAR from the middle forward?

    Unfortunately, no PAR2 files available... The RAR is "homemade", but I know it has the right ISO because the CRC in the r45 is correct. Binsearch comes out empty, too. That's what you get when trying to find an ISO from 2009. I even tried eMule :p

    EDIT : found another ISO on a german site with an Indian domain, it was missing some content but was enough for me to rebuild the ISO and get the original CRC, so I no longer need the incomplete RARs. The original question is still valid, because I bumped into this kind of problem before, and probably will again.

    If a multipar RAR contains a single file and one of the RARs is damaged, can the file be extracted from some point in the middle, either by using some kind of RAR repair utility or by messing with the header/content of the damaged RAR?
