Hi Is it possible to extract the bios WPH/ROM file from the laptop? Which utility should I use? Will WinPhlash work for this (using the backup feature)? Does it matter which WinPhlash version to use? I just have got myself an Intel based Lenovo S12. On Lenovo support website they dont provide any bios updates or anything else, so it's not downloadable. Thanks p
ok, new concept I read here and there, and figured that without a manufacturer supplied bios file it's pretty much impossible to mod Phoenix BIOS. Am I correct here? Are there any other ways to inject the SLIC 2.1 table? Thanks Anton
Phoenix bios backup is pretty much useless because the backup does not contain platform data which is necessary for flashing.
