F6 driver (storage) in autounattend.xml

    What if you boot back into winpe on first reboot and used dism to add the drivers...

    Ofcourse I can do that. But we are talking about 100s devices done by a technician...

    Then why are you even running setup? Just run a script to create partitions, dism to unpack your index, dism to add your drivers, copy the unattend to panther folder, bcdboot etc.
    This is stuff I know you do anyway isn't it? You would have seen Murphy's batch...

    Oh man, you almost teaching granny to suck eggs....

    But it is not me doing it, there are clever people and there are people that can only do 1 - 2 - 3 (without knowing what is being done)

    Have you tried using the \$WinPEDriver$ folder for your drivers? In the past it would load the driver for winpe and setup would use them for installation.
    I don't know if it's available with the current winpe but I think I saw it being used for win7 years ago...

    Yes, it does still use $WinPEDriver$ to load drivers in WinPE, but it does not seem to carry them over to the installed image

    am also wondering how i can integrate MEI driver to WindowsPE (need restart for complete install)!!!
