Failure of Office 2007 installation on XP

    Tried it, But that didnt help
    MS OFFice standard 2007 installation starts and vanishes without error.

    have you updated the msiexec.exe in xp it may still have older version.

    my systems get ALL updates for Windows XP. so It would have updated.
    none the less, I installed Windows insataller 3.5 and i was replied with "newer version is already installed". is there any better version that i can download and install?

    Do all of the XP Machines have similar hardware, if so, you can use Norton Ghost and image one of them and deploy it to all of them.

    Get a grip
    think about what you are saying.
    No you can have a top end machine and still run windows XP. Like most companies who still use it as there main OS system.
    As for hardware :eek: every computer is different.
