hey guys im getting a prob with my windows 8.1 when i enable fast startup, and i shutdown my pc. the next time i turn the pc on, it shutdown after the bios without booting windows. if i disable fast startup, the pc turns on normally and boot windows. didn't have this prob in windows 8 before, its only now that i noticed that, i thought i had a power supply prob but its not the case. i have an intel core i5 2500 and 8gb ram.

    Dear fardeen,

You need to install windows in UEFI mode and secure boot also to be enabled. HDD to be partitioned in GPT (Guide Partition Table) instead of MBR (Master Boot Record) Then you have to sellect UEFI HDD as your first boot device. Now enable fast boot it will work otherwise fast boot will not work.

    Regards,

    Manu

You can't fix that because because fast startup is not supported on intel 6 series chipsets.
