Ff profile question

    If the profile is transferred to a new install, will the Modified Preferences in About:Config also be transferred?

    Yes, the file prefs.js = about:config parameters is located in your profile

    but there is problem. When I check the profile for prefs.js I find:

    prefs
    prefs.js.bak
    prefs-1
    prefs-2
    prefs-3
    prefs-4
    prefs-5
    prefs-6
    prefs-7
    prefs-8

    prefs-1 and prefs-2 have 0 kb, the other eight each have 82 kb.
    The oldest, prefs-1 and 2, are two years old
    The newest, prefs, is from just now....

    Also, there is no user.js file...?

    Sorry I can't give you more infos about this. what's inside prefs.js ? ask to developers of FF :)
