I clicked the "Apply to Folders" File Explorer setting after chaning a folder view but it still isn't applied to some folders when I think they have the same type as the one I clicked said setting. I have Windows 11 22H2 installed.

What's also weird is that even if I change a Quick Access File Explorer folder view and click the "Apply to Folders" File Explorer setting, some of the other Quick Access folders don't have the previously set File Explorer folder view when I guess they have the same type as the Quick Access folder where I clicked said setting so I have to manually set the File Explorer view for many Quick Access folders individually.

EDIT: The File Explorer folder view not being applied to all folders issue also happens between folders inside the same Quick and non-Quick Access folders.

The issue you are talking about started with Win10... it has been raised numerous times... but there is no native solution

if you use the software that i mentioned... you can export your preferred settings to a backup file... and then run the software and import the backup if and when needed

That program shouldn't be needed if what I did worked fine and I was told it was a bug.

I just noticed Windows 11 sometimes is slow changing the timestamp in "Modified" after making changes to files and saving.

Thank you very much. This has been annoying me for a long time, especially with music files. I had always thought it was my fault. Works perfectly for me , Win 11 Pro.

Did you use WinSetView to fix this issue?
